Wanted for Medford Scheme Fraud

Posted

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying individuals involved in two rental scams in Medford that
occurred in March.
A man hung up a flyer advertising a Medford home for rent at the Laundry Kingdom in Medford
on March 12. Two individuals separately responded to the ad and met with a woman claiming to be a real estate agent on March 14. Both individuals provided a cash deposit in exchange for a house key. The key did not work on the home, located on Sipp Avenue in Medford and it was determined to be a rental scheme.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to
