On Thursday, July 28, Main Street in Islip was blocked off for Tradewinds on Main, presented by the Islip Chamber of Commerce. The event went from 6 to 9 p.m. and allowed visitors to shop, dine, stroll, and of course, dance on Main Street. Islip Chamber of Commerce president Liz Mayott noted that the event was packed and a great time was had by all, including young Caden Gee, pictured in the chair.
