The 55th annual Fuoco Golf Feastival was recently held on Sept. 19 at Rock Hill Golf Course in Manorville, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Patchogue. A total of 148 golfers, 25 dinner guests, and 50 volunteers helped raise over $200,000 for Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck, a camp for special-needs kids and adults.
The donation includes a total of $50,000 donated by Norberto Construction. Those interested can still support the cause at fuoco.golf/sweepstakes for a chance to win $10,000 or $1,000. The winner will be announced in December.
During the event, there were at total of nine food feastivals on the golf course with four full bars. Golfers had chances to win a $1,000,000 shoot-out, nine closest to the pin contests, nine longest drive contests, two hole-in-one cars from Browns Automotive, four par-3 challenges, a putting contest, and more. Each golfer received an LL Bean swag bag stuffed with a dozen golf balls, a Fuoco Golf beach towel, a Brown’s frisbee, and more.
This year’s event honored Rosario “Russ” Cassata and his family and foundation for their generosity to the event and the camp.
The feastival is run by the fourth generation of Fuocos, Katy Hill, Jim Fuoco and Mike Fuoco, with chairman emeritus Steve Fuoco guiding the way. Previous chairpersons were Louis Fuoco Sr (founder) and Louis (Buddy) Fuoco Jr.
