Sayville Schools is ACES

Be the Ace of Hearts on April 20

Posted

How does a single mom unable to pay for camp fill up her kids’ summer schedule?  Or what about a mother worried she’ll have her heat shut off in winter? And what do you do about your precocious elementary school daughter, a technology genius who wants to learn computer coding now?

The odds are good that if your child goes to Sayville, one of Sayville Schools’ employee-based charities has already stepped up to help.  Two are funded through payroll deductions!

You can support these charities at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, at Land’s End Waterfront Catering.  That’s when Sayville Schools’ three charities are teaming up for a fundraiser.

The goal?  Raise even more money to help even more kids. You can offer support by attending or with a sponsorship through the QR code included.

Here are the three employee-funded charities:

Sayville Athletic Foundation – Funds such activities as summer youth sports at Sayville Middle School.

Sayville School Employee Charitable Foundation – Supports children and families in crisis like losing your heat.

Friends of Sayville Educational Foundation – Donates money for programs like elementary computer coding not covered by the school budget.

200 Sayville Schools’ employees have donated over $250,000 to help 2,000 children since these charities started in 2010. Collectively, they are the Aces of clubs, diamonds and spades.  Help them complete the deck and be our Ace of Hearts.  To offer a raffle item, please contact high school principal Ronald Hoffer at rhoffer@sayvilleschools.org or (631) 244-6600.
