The Great South Bay Yacht Racing Association held its annual Labor Day Invitational Regatta on Saturday at Bellport Bay Yacht Club.
Six sailboats took to the water under sunny skies and with winds of about seven knots making for excellent conditions.
Each of the boats competed in four races around the 2.59 nautical miles course. They included the Elvira, a classic sloop originally built in either 1905 or 1906.
