Islip Arts Council to host prestigious violinist

On Sept. 26, the First Congregational Church in Bay Shore and the Islip Arts Council will be hosting violinist Rachel Ellen Wong from 2 to 4 p.m. Wong made her first public appearance with the Philharmonia Northwest at age 11 and currently resides in Seattle, Wash. A graduate of Juilliard and Indiana University, Wong is a rising star on both the historical performance and modern violin stages.
