Harmony of the Hartmans: art exhibit features cohesive inspiration

Posted

The Bay Area Friends of Fine Arts hosted an exhibition by artists Scott and Linda Hartman of the Hartman Studio 44 this past weekend. The exhibit will be on display this weekend, Saturday, Jan. 20 and Sunday, Jan. 21 from 1 to 4 p.m.

With a lifetime of artwork and art instruction, the Hartmans, formerly of Sayville and now in Riverhead, had media of watercolors, acrylics, fiber landscapes, and wood and metal table designs, and prints filling the Gillette House Gallery.

The Hartmans said that having so many forms of artwork helped the creative process and was “multitasking at its finest.”
The harmony of the pieces sung a song of cohesive teamwork and genuine genuflection between two artists of great respect for the process.

The veneration of nature is abundant throughout the exhibit with nods to man-made structures that embody the quiet beauty that connects the practical world with the natural aura.
