Saturday, April 9 was an “egg-ordinary” day, because the Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches and several Main Street merchants teamed up to host an Easter egg hunt on Main Street. Even the Easter bunny got in on the action, as kids from 3 years old to 9 years old hunted for plastic eggs, hidden inside the park and all-around Main Street. After hunting, the children were invited to visit participating businesses for “specialty eggs,” which included special prizes.
