Bayport Civic makes annual turkey donation

The Bayport Civic Association just conducted its 21st annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, thanks this year to the generosity of over 60 local families. Over the past 21 years, the BCA has handed out nearly 11 tons of free turkeys and $28,000 worth of King Kullen gift cards to those in need in our community. This year, distributions were made at the Sylvan Avenue Elementary School, the Bayport United Methodist Church Outreach, the Our Lady of Snow Outreach, and the Sayville Food Pantry.
