BOHEMIA—On May 4, the Connetquot High School boys lacrosse team took on conference competitor Huntington High School under the home lights and wound up rocking their rivals. The T-Birds took an early lead at the half with a score of 5-3.  The game would end with Connetquot on top with a score of 12-5, which gave the locals an overall record of 9-3 in the challenging Suffolk County First Division.

Leading scorers for Connetquot were G.Q. Grippo with four goals and two assists, along with Justin Crowe, George Wichelns and Steven Pinto with two goals apiece.  Also scoring for the T-Birds were Zach Pizzimenti and Michael Carere. Carere also won 16 of 20 faceoffs.  Andrew Pinto made nine saves for Connetquot.
