Local Easter services happening online

Passion Week is upon us, and services leading into and on Easter Sunday are available at local churches online, whether on Zoom, Facebook Live, or YouTube. The web address for all services on Zoom can be accessed through your church’s Facebook page and/or website.

Peace Christian Church of Bohemia

Pastor Brian Edwards has been host- ing Sunday Mass on Facebook Live at 10 a.m. Pastor Edwards held mass on Palm Sunday. No announcements have been posted regarding the upcoming events during Holy Week.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sayville

Pastor Brian Noack hosted a Palm Sunday service at 9:30 a.m. on Vim- eo, which is available on the church’s website. A link to the livestream is also available on the church’s Facebook page. No announcements have been posted regarding upcoming events during Holy Week.

Sayville Congregational United Church of Christ

The church posted a pre-recorded Palm Sunday service on its website at 10 a.m. The church hosts Friends Chats each day on Zoom: Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m., Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. and Sun- days at 11:30 a.m. Zoom addresses are posted on the church’s Facebook page.

Bayport United Methodist Church

The church has created a virtual sanctuary on its website, which links to a Zoom interface during mass. Worship begins on Sundays at 9:45 a.m.. Maundy Thursday service will be held on Zoom at 7 p.m. Good Friday Worship service will also begin at 7 p.m. For Easter Sunday, the church will be hosting a Sunrise Worship at 6:30 a.m. and an Easter Sunday Worship service at 9:45 a.m. on Zoom.
